UK ASSOCIATION OF GYPSY WOMEN
PO Box 63 Darlington DL1 9AH
PETITION AGAINST
Sex & Relationships Education from Foundation Stage
We the undersigned wish to protest in the strongest possible terms and make known to the government that the Romany Gypsy and other communities are Vehemently Opposed to the Compulsory teaching of Sex Relationships Education (SRE) to our children whatever guise these subjects come under, from Foundation Stage age upwards. Such education would go against the Romany Gypsies cultural traditional and Christian Beliefs.
Refusing to let our cultural and religious values be ignored by the current curriculum. We are keeping the pressure on the department until they provide a formal response.

Schools shouldn't be teaching this at all. It is up to us parents to decide when they learn about these things. Leave our families alone
