UK Home Office: Reconsider your decision with regard to Chad Morris’ immigration matter and grant discretionary leave to remain.

I have emailed mine the following, if you need a template please feel free to use this: Dear ____ I would like to bring to your attention the case of Chad Morris, an american, who works at the head of the Inclusive Support office at Walsall College. Chad has been in the UK for nearly eight years, completely legally and considers the UK to be his home. The home office now wishes to deport him. In his job Chad supports students with a range of disabilities, from severe learning difficulties, to mental health problems, to physical disabilities. Many of these students are vulnerable and need stability in the support offered and the structuring of the office - if Chad is deported this stability will be threatened. A disruption in the support office, such as an abrupt change of leadership, will directly effect these students and myself. The instability it causes will affect learning where support staff try to fill the vacuum left by Chad and front line support will change. It will also likely cause an increase in student anxiety. Such an unnecessary disruption is unacceptable, Chad is good at his job, loved by the students and does not wish to leave the role. Therefore I ask that you would raise this matter with the home office, that they would reconsider their decision on his deportation and grant him discretionary leave to remain. Chad is a fine gentle person who has worked hard during the time I have known him. He is committed to helping others and genuinely loves this country. It would be such a shame to see Chad go.

This man is an asset to this Country,we need to keep him here....

if chad has to go back to his former country after he has worked here and paid taxes then it is only fair that those here from Europe who are sponging off the state and not working should be returned to their natural country of birth? This is shocking that he works and contributes to the tax system here and he is treated like this. This country is very backwards in its way of thinking and supporting people who want to acheive.I am ashamed to live here.....

With so many people allowed to remain who shouldn't, it doesn't make sense for Chad to be forced to leave

let him stay ,at least he pays taxes

good person willing to put into society he deserves to stay

Chad deserves to stay and to continue to be a positive contributor to society, and to support his students

let him stay please

I have never felt so ashamed to call myself British. This government has its priorities all wrong.

It has shamed me that my country has turned their back on somebody who works hard, pays taxes and has the love and gentlemanly manner of everybody who is good. Such people belong in Britain, and are not be turned away.

This has to change!!

We need more people like Chad in the UK!

Send the one home who claim the benefits!!!!!

This man has become an pillar of the community in the UK and it is saddening to hear he is being evicted from the country. Please reconsider.
