This is a disgrace. We as students were robbed of proper and consistent teaching during the pandemic and as a result many found they're grades sinking below what they could have achieved. It is outrageous and unjust to revoke the safety net policy and it just be reinstated for the well being of students.

Absolutely appalling to not let students know in advance and to give the reasoning of covid has gone when it bloody well clearly has not!!!!! All the affected students will now suffer

The Graduates of the 2021/2022 class should have the safety net option to remain, as stated earlier this year by the chancellor.

Cannot believe the UEA would try and pull this after the lack of support they've give to students

It should also remain in place for year abroad students returning for the academic year 2022-23

Uni life hasn't really gone back to true normality yet, if a lecturer gets covid we have to do online lectures, not to mention 80% of my stuff this semester was online

I do not understand why they mentioned the safety net policy to us in the first place if they are just going to remove it . It has been very hard working remotely and 2020 was a stressful year for us all , so the safety net policy should apply to us all .

I've had to self-isolate already and Omicron has just showed up, things won't be "normal" for a long time.

Third years suffering from two years of disrupted study and inconsistent promises from the university should be enough reason for a safety net not not mention the lack of support given to students from the university.

This is ridiculous that they are removing the safety net. Why would they offer it if they were gonna remove it

Ridiculous and cruel how the safety net was promised to us as comfort in a time of uncertainty and stress and is now being taken away for no good reason.

Don’t promise a safety net only to take it down. If you make a promise, stick to it
