Some of us based our understanding of our final grades on this, how can you then remove it?

You really gotta be trying to appear malicious to do this without notice.

Learning has still been disrupted, despite largely being in person. A safety net would help counteract this.

As an alumni, I’m disappointed to see this happening at UEA. Study has still been seriously affected this year and students should be treated fairly.

Changing the statements on the UEA SU website halfway through my final year without notice just isn’t good enough. Should have at least been notified of the change before the start of this academic year.

Normal teaching isn't even back for may of us as half my professors are still stuck abroad and the in person classes I did have were limited by COVID procedures.

Just because normal teaching is back doesn't mean our teaching in itself isn't still being affected. Coronavirus is still prevalent and so is its Impact.

This is required as COVID has been an issue for the majority of our degree (2 1/2 years). It is unfair for some students to have a safety net and not others especially when it has effected our degree majorly.

People are still getting covid and having to isolate and there are even fewer provisions for those that have to take time off
