Absolute nonsense. Safety net still remains for final year students. Details can be found under the “ Use Of A Safety Net To Support Degree Classification And Performance In This Academic Year - UGs Where 2020-21 Is A Counting Year” section of the Assessment support during the pandemic webpage, available at https://my.uea.ac.uk/departments/learning-and-teaching/students/covid-19/assessment-support

Very unfair that the entire university educations has been affected by COVID but we’re left out of safety net

The majority of my teaching is still online which is what I experienced in second year. In second year this lack of the full education experience was deemed as worthy of a safety net. As not much has changed I strongly believe the safety net should still be available.

I’m repeating the year so I need this more than most
This is greatly unfair as we had reassurance during year in industry we would have this safety net.

It can benefit multiple students as last year was difficult for a lot of people due to it being online.

Most my learning has been remote and certain lecturers do not respond for many weeks, likely because they are at arm's length and students being unable to knock on their office doors due to working from home. The support has been poor at best, fragmented modules and learning content and the timetabling has been late and changes, not permitting adequate time for childcare and time off work.

As a UEA student who has gone through hell and back during the pandemic, I want a fair shot at getting a high mark on my degree.

Covid has not gone away, and it is still impacting the study of students of all years.

Unfair considering what we have been through with lack of support!

Shocking, students clearly aren’t supported.
