My wife and I have long been supporters if the International Center. We greatly value all that the center does both for American students and students and foreign students and scholars. It would be a loss for the campus if the International Center dis not exist anymore

I have been a tutor at the I-Center for more 18 years, gladly giving my time and effort to help a foreign learn English and better understand America. The I-Center provides a vital service that should be continued.

International center is a kind of hub to connect new commers from foreign countries. Ithe plays a key role to help J1 and J2 visa holders to adapt in a new environment ASAP.
It should be preserved for these purposes and supported more attention.

There is no need to tear down this building. It serves it purpose just fine. The Univ. saves money by repairing rather than replacing, in this case.

The English in Action tutees that I have worked with have enjoyed the activities at the International Center. It also is nice for the tutors to know where to go for tutor training meetings - that there is one central place for tutors and tutees.

The International Center is indeed a very valuable place in our UC San Diego community not only for our international students, but for their family members as well as local UC San Diego students. I have very profound memories of meeting with my first EIA tutee in the International Center during my second year as an undergraduate, and it has had an immensely positive impact on my university experience. Future students deserve the same opportunity, which can only be obtained from UC San Diego's International Center.
