La Raza Law Students at UC Davis School of Law have invited Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor to the 30th annual Lorenzo Patino Banquet. The Lorenzo Patino Banquet is held in memory of Judge Lorenzo Patiño, who became the first Latino judge in Sacramento. The banquet recognizes UC Davis La Raza Law Students Association's (LRLSA) graduating member's public service. LRLSA seeks justice and equality for underserved individuals nationwide. The Patino Banquet honors and supports these efforts. Please add your signature to invite Justice Sotomayor to visit UC Davis school of Law and support our law students. This signature collection will end Wedneday August 17th at 10am. Thank you in advance.
The momentum behind this invitation is undeniable and it proves that our community refuses to be ignored by the administration. UC Davis needs to understand that we are united in our demand to bring Justice Sotomayor to this campus.
