I know saving money is important, but people are more important. Let’s do right by our friend Rosa.

The UCB should be better then some cold corporation that only cares about bottom lines, but it clearly is not.

After 9 years working at the Training Center, UCB should be lifting up Rosa, not replacing her with a faceless company. If she doesn't want to come back, give her severance package that honors the years she's worked and the pain this firing process has caused. And if she wants to come back, give her a pay raise and a cleaning team to support her so she never has to go through this again. Either way, SUPPORT HER!

This is wild. We’re a long way away from the theatre’s punk rock roots.

As many others have said, Rosa has given us all kindness and respect and she deserves to receive the same in return. I hope this situation will be appropriately rectified.

Commitment is one of the core values of improv. It should apply onstage and off.

She deserves to be rehired and get the vacation she deserves. Rosa works 7 days a week and is the kindest soul you will ever meet. This is very upsetting.

I'm so upset to hear that Rosa was fired and disgusted that the circumstances appeared to punish her for asking for unpaid time off. UCB should reinstate Rosa. If Rosa chooses not to return due to her treatment, UCB should offer her severance that is appropriate and reflects her time spent making the UCB community better.

This decision does not reflect the values of the community, and Rosa should be reinstated. If she no longer wishes to work here, as may well be the case given the circumstances of her termination, she should be offered a severance appropriate to her level of dedication to the school.

Shameful and disappointing.

Please give Rosa her job back or at the very least give her 6 months severance. She worked at UCB for years it’s the least you can do UCB.

I have been a part of the UCB theater since 2011, and I think losing Rosa would be a tragedy. She is as much a part of the community as anyone else.

Rosa deserves better. Please treat her like a human being and not a line item.
