UB Students Petition against Clinicals during Mid-Semester vacation for Nursing Level 200

We need rest

We need rest hauu, ku hectic guys ,ku rough ,we are tired

Semester break is an official ub calendar event scheduled for every ub student, it helps students relax and at the same time catch up on content they may be left behind on. We really need a break, and besides, it's not like clinics are busy nor do we learn sepe sese pharologanyo from the usual everyday practice.

I agree with the petition.

We need this break, so as to catch up with other stuff. It's not like we have only 1 module this semester

we have been flooded with a lot of work and we are all burnt out, That being said we also deserve a break.

We are strained and need time to wind up and catch up with school work

Semester break is meant to us students to relax our mind. So attending clinicals during semester break is disadvantaging us because we didn't plan for coming to school during that time.. we are not financially stable. We only depend on our living allowance and some of us including me we share our living allowance with our parents because my mother is handicapped and my father is not working. So we don't have money to transport us during that time..Think for us my beloved lecture. We are all human beings, we need to rest.

We cant be assigned to go for practicals during the semester break in which we knock off very late as well this does not really stands out for us as students its overwhelming becuase we need to rest just as like any other university student

This semester has already taken a toll on us. There is a total of 4 tests this coming week and it's obviously gonna be draining. We too need to rest over the semester break and also catch up with our school work at our own pace.

We need this break to unwind this semester has already been so eventful and taxing and not allowing us this break is purely oppression and not really considering the difficulties we face with regard to our budgets apart from the already mentioned mental and physical disturbance

Um against this issue of going for clinicals on semester break, since we are exhausted, we need to rest and catch up with the content that has already be done,, and more importantly we have too much work that need to be submitted immediately after the break and we wouldn't find enough time to complete the work if we still have to be going for clinicals...

The clinicals are themselves draining, we are already drained from the exausting semester and need time to rest. In other hand, most of us are offcampus students, to reach the clinical sites we have to dig into our pockets which we did not budget for. Thank you.

We need semester break in order to rest and catch up the content we are left behind with.. We are paying for our own transport fees and our budgets does not cover everything, it strains us students

Already feeling burnt out with the school load, have 4 test scheduled next week, the week before semester break hence semester break would be necessary to decompress
