We sign this petition requesting that the UAB Recreation Center use tape on their climbing wall. With tape, more routes can be on the wall at the same time. Therefore, there will be a greater diversity of routes and boulder problems available to all climbers - regardless of skill level, age, or experience. We believe that having tape on the wall is not a negative thing. We do not believe it decreases the aesthetics of the wall, or of the recreation center. Lastly, we sign this petition because we care about UAB\'s climbing wall, and we would like to continue to make it better. The current route setting limitations makes it hard to bring credibility to what could become a great UAB asset.
