4 years and $160,000 dollars later, the kids deserve a proper graduation and the original date in May should be honored.

I would not want to burden the UA staff with another event when they would be struggling just to get daily operations back up in 6 months to a year. My vote is for a virtual event or something the class could donate to the school that it needs, with their names on it. Make the class special, because they are! Most in the class will hopefully have jobs elsewhere and most likely can’t even make time for a ceremony or coming back. I’m trying to be realistic here.

Please allow our kids to walk..anytime this summer or when deemed safe ..they need to be able to say farewell to their beloved university! It will also bring a much needed economic boom to the small businesses in Tuscaloosa !

A separate weekend for the spring class of 2020 would be great. Let’s not overwhelm the UA community.

Very interested in attending a graduation ceremony at any time with these kids who have earned the right to be recognized for their hard work. It would be heartbreaking to not schedule anything for a later time in the year. Maybe fall break when there’s no football and many of the undergrads are off campus.

I applaud the university taking the steps to keep people as safe as they can. If it’s possible to hold the ceremony at a later date I know my daughter would love to walk that stage!
