I voted and still got a fine i even called and got to that it would be wise to just pay the fine as it is a long prosess and by the time they look at it and (if they accept it) the fine will double so not happy at all.

Both my partner & I received a please explain failure to vote notice so I responded advising we voted however when discussing with the shire they said it was a postal vote. Last year was a very hectic year being new parents & I don't believe we received the postal vote in the mail otherwise we would of completed it as we can't afford the fines being a family on 1 wage & I would like my say in the voting also but we still received a fine so I will be disputing that again!!!

I voted three days before the cut off date and still got fined. I did it the same time as my partner who did not get fined!!! How does that work?

Not only did i vote and send in on time, but i relied with who i voted for and where i posted the vote in time and still received a phonr. Why should i then be punished by fine for doing the right thing?

Not only did i vote but i called up to get a new postal vote sent out to me to ensure i could vote. There is no way all these people say they voted and didnt (some maybe but not all) and if my votes weren't counted then whats the point in democracy.
