Been living in Tygerhof since 1985. There has NEVER been so much crime in the area as to when Century City created this lane (obviously only for their own benefit and not taking the implications into account how it would affect existing residents ). From murder and theft at gunpoint and knifepoint and an easy exit to Factreton for perpetrators ......the figures are just on the rise. The latest is an easy exit/ entry for motorbikes.

I agree it's a HIGH RISK area, add I have been mugged in the alley twice. HOWEVER, I personally think it's better if we widened the alley into a road for a gated entrance for residents only. NO THOROUGHFARE! It would ease congestion in Ratanga Rd and be convenient for all residents. The only reason it's got high crime, is because it's tucked away in a quiet area. By making it more open and exposed to more traffic, there will be less opportunistic criminals lurking. The gate could be remote operated, just like any complex.

These delivery scooter drivers have almost driven into my wife and child so many times it makes me furious. I refuse to support any other those service providers lely because of the behaviour of their drivers. Something needs to be done!
