For more than half a century server pay has only been $2.13/hr. The cost of living is so high and everything goes up with minimum wage except server pay. This is crazy because a lot of servers are having a hardtime paying for insurance and food and everything out of pocket and never receiving a paycheck. Even when we work any other position, we still don't receive a check because it is eaten in taxes. Me and my fellow servers in Georgia are tired of not making what we should some weeks and falling behind. It is 2009 and it is time for a change. We need our hourly pay to match our cost of living and we will not stop until there is a change in hour pay, at least a dollar.
