Members of the community at and around the intersection of Carlton County highway 3 and 4 in Twin Lakes Township are requesting DSL high speed internet service from Qwest. The service was installed and is available in adjacent parts of the community, but not in this portion of Twin Lakes Township. Currently Qwest is requesting $40,000 for this installation. Carlton County is working on potential community grants that may be available. This petition is a method of displaying to the County that we believe DSL is a fundamental service that should be provided to all areas of Twin Lakes township. By signing this petition you are;
1. Showing your support of DSL high speed internet for the neighborhood.
2. Showing your support for potentially using this service if it were to become available.
The momentum behind this request for DSL service shows that our community is unified in its need for modern infrastructure. This progress confirms that digital access is a priority for everyone living in Twin Lakes Township.

Living in 2017 with dial up speeds is a total joke. We pay our taxes just like everyone else.
