The undersigned people on this petition are residents in the Deerwood/Spilka community. They have signed this petition because they have a need for reliable internet service to be provided to their homes. All signatures represent an individual home in our community that is seeking reliable internet service and is interested in service with WMTEL. They would all be interested in the 25 MB internet or higher that WMTEL provides.

2007 Parker Drive, Fort Dodge My husband & I would love to have reliable internet service! We hope you consider putting a tower in our neighborhood. We moved here 15 years ago & tried getting services with you but couldn’t get a good enough connection with the tower by the college. Thank you so much for consideration on this matter. This petition circulated on our Neighborhood Facebook page a little over 24 hours. Out of the approximately 80 households out in the Deerwood/Spilka area, we were able to get signatures from 33 of them. That is almost 1/2 of the homes that currently have service from an internet service provider that they are unhappy with. I can provide post after post from our neighborhood Facebook page showing comments about residents disgust and frustration over their consistently bad internet service. I, Stacey Stuhrenberg, have personally had service with the 2 internet service providers that are currently providing service in our area over the past couple of years. I can tell you that my frustration over our bad service has come to a head. Currently our service is either slow or non-existent. It goes in and out all the time and we are constantly having to reset equipment or call for service. And I know that many of the households in the neighborhood are experiencing the same things. This petition is a testament to the need for reliable and fast internet service in our community that a company like WMTEL has a reputation for providing. I know that there are people that have posted their frustration in the past that this petition had not even reached yet, that would be on board with getting service with WMTEL. This neighborhood is ready for a great internet service provider. We are hoping that this petition will help you in your decision to invest money in this area and provide service. 2032 Nicole Road I haven’t had WiFi at my residence in a few years because Frontier was so slow & everyone in my community that has Mediacom is just as unsatisfied. Need something reliable here.
