They actually approved the permit and I am still trying to process the fact that the 390 of us just shifted the needle on this whole mess. I honestly thought it would drag on forever but it turns out enough pressure really does move things even when you feel like …

The numbers are creeping up toward that 250 mark and honestly I think we can hit it before the sun goes down if people just grab a link and put it on their socials right now. It is getting loud out there but we need to be louder because if we stop moving now the momentum just dies in the dirt.

I feel as if this is exactly what Missouri Heights is about- open space used for farming- small operations such as Annie’s horse Business. Annie is a long time local I trust to keep Missouri heights large open spaces and more natural. Big multimillion $$ homes hardly feels valley like or keeping Missouri heights as it has always been.

With the development in the Roaring Fork Valley, there are fewer and fewer options for horse boarding. Horses and agriculture are a part of this valley’s history.

Please allow & secure a special use permit up in Missouri Heights. For the new owners of the old Aspen Mountain Ranch, which used to be an equestrian facility back in the 70/80s! The ranch has sat derelict for more than 30 years. They are wanting to bring it back to what it used to be, a thriving horse ranch.

I own a home just up the hill in Red Table Acres HOA. I think this ranch should be used for horses again and they have already put up fencing which looks amazing. I can’t wait to see how they improve the property.

WIth the increasing extreme weather patterns Colorado has been experiencing, I believe having another facility in the Carbondale area that provides an arena to work horses in wind, rain, and snow would help the community.

Annie Graber, owner of Twin Acres, will be a wonderful addition to the equestrian world in Missouri Heights. She cares and tends to her horses with love and attention to their every need. It is important for horses, and riders, to have a safe and nurturing facility of which Twin Acres will provide. I support this 100 percent.

Horses and related activities are a critical part of this valley and for many families who call this home year round. We fully support Annie and her ambition to do the right thing and look forward to seeing it become a reality!
