Teams should not be denied success after a seasons worth of hard work just because of facilities they can not afford. It just promotes money raging powerhouses, which the higher divisions of English football do not need more of.

Both my sons play for Turton FC, we have always encouraged them to play sport and this injustice does nothing to encourage young players to stay in the game.

Fair play, how can they do the work if the pitch will be damaged thus preventing some games not being played thus preventing them being next to the top in the league. Which comes first? - the chicken or the egg !!!
