I am gathering the latest traffic logs from our intersection to hand over to the city council. Post this link on your Facebook page today so the local transit authority knows we are not going away quietly.

The response to this campaign proves that every driver in Ellettsville is just as frustrated by that intersection as I am. Grab your phone right now and send this link to a neighbor. We need to keep this pressure on the town council until they fix the timing at Sale and Temperance.

Totally agree. Trying to get to work in the morning is a joke at this intersection.
It is a nightmare trying to turn left at this intersection while school is in session. It would be safer if there was a turn arrow to be able to control the traffic flow.
Use this light all the time with driver education students and a protected turn would help.
This proposal would make traffic in that area so much better. There’s definitely a need for it. By the time the opposing traffic goes, the light is back to red. A whole new line forms to the light that has the right of way until the light turns green again. It’s so frustrating having to sit through 3 or 4 lights before you’re able to turn onto Sale street. This little town has grown tremendously over the last few years. It’s time to make this one small change to adapt to the increase in traffic flow. Thank you!
