I grew up on 20 and 39, I was witness to many accidents along 20 in general, along with being in one as well. The entire stretch of 20 needs a turning lane to make it that much safer. I hope the person who created this petition and all the signatures on it, help make a positive movement for the motorists in our area, and the frequent travelers!

I lived on 20 very close to the 35 intersection the majority of my life. So many lives have been lost on 20 which could have been prevented with a turning lane.

the road is very scarry qhen you have to turn and you dont know if ghe people behind you are going to notice your turn signal or your brake lights.

I have lived on 400 for almost 13 years and I can honestly say that trying to turn off of 20 onto 400 is the most dangerous spot in laporte county. How many people have to die or get seriously injured before the city does something about it?

I lived off of 400 West for 23 years and many times thank the God Lord for someone changing lanes before rear ended me. We have seen too many tradegedies in this area.

As a teacher at Springfield Elementary I worry every day about my drive to school on 20. There have been several times when I've almost been rear ended while trying to turn onto 400 to get to school. We HAVE to have turning lanes.

I live in a subdivision just off of Highway 20. I can't tell you how many close calls I've had when trying to turn into my subdivision because people don't pay attention. In my opinion, turn lanes would make Highway 20 so much safer.
Please make this a safer highway.
