There and Fail rd even thou there is a Red Light there! LaPorte County should have never let the school build there, its a major truck route, this isn't the first wreck there and it wont be the last! Yes to a turn lane, and I hope who ever started this mess is ticketed to high heaven!

I grew up on 400 W. Members of my family were hit there 4 different times. It was when my dad was almost killed that they put the caution light up, it helped but still not enough. With a school there now yes a turning Lane is much needed!

Very dangerous spot...Why not try to help save more lives, and keep people from getting in accidents, even if it's their faults for not paying attention. We're all guilty of not paying attention while driving one time or another..

There NEEDS to be a turning lane, I would even say a stop light at the entrance to the school, instead of the yellow flashing lights.
I sure hope it doesn't take someone getting killed before INDOT pays attention.

I turn there everyday to take my granddaughter home , My daughter and my granddaughter had an accident there same spot .

My family lives on 400 W and the flashing yield light is of no significance by traffic on Hwy 20. Every morning we wait for traffic to clear to pull out onto the highway. Not to mention on our return home and making a right hand turn, we have to watch our rearview mirrors to make sure traffic behind us notices our brake lights and turn signals and SLOWS DOWN. It's a scary intersection at Hwy 20 & 400 W and needs a STOP LIGHT. (I am not sure there is room for a turn lane but if so, all the better). Vehicles do not pay attention approaching the flashing light much less realize by the time they are at the top of the "hill" that traffic is just ahead waiting to turn. I fear for anyone driving in that area and the nearby school.

Both turning lanes and a stoplight would be best for this stretch of highway in LaPorte county. My granddaughter attends Renaissance Academy and I know firsthand how dangerous it is to make a left turn into the parking lot. Please seriously consider this change before anyone else is hurt!

I live near this busy highway and see the scary cluster when school lets out. Only a matter of time before another accident due to this
