تحويل السرايا الى حديقة
بنيت في عهد الانتداب البريطاني كرمز للاستعمار و الاستبداد. استلمها الاحتلال الاسرائيلي و اتخذها كمركز للقهر و التعذيب. دمرت في العدوان الاخير علي غزة مثل الالاف من الابنية الاخرى فى ٢٠٠٨. من يومها، اختفى مبنى السرايا و ترك فراغ كبيرا في وسط المدينة......
نحن نريد ان نرسل رساله لانفسنا و للعالم، هى اننا قادرين على تحويل الدمار و الخراب الى حدائق خضراء كرمز للخير و الجمال للاطفال و الكبار و لجميع الناس.
هدفنا هو تجميع ١٠٠،٠٠٠ صوت من سكان و اصدقاء و محبى غزة فى عريضة سوف نتقدم بها للجهات المسؤولة لاقناعها لتحويل ارض السرايا الي حديقة عامة. الرجاء توقيع العريضة الموجودة على هذا الرابط و تعميم الرساله.

Turn Saraya to a Garden
It was built during the British Mandate as a symbol of colonialism and tyranny and later adopted by the Israeli Occupation as a center of torture and misery. It was finally destroyed in 2008 during the Israeli invasion on Gaza, along with thousands of other buildings. Ever since, Al Saraya was gone, and it left behind a vacuum in the middle of Gaza City.
What we really need is to do now show ourselves and the world that we can turn destruction to beauty, in the form of a beautiful garden. Lets turn the Saray Land into a beautiful public garden.
Our goal is to collect at least 100,000 signatures from people that live in Gaza and also from Gaza's many friends. Please sign the petition and spread the word. We are going to give this petition to the designated authorities, requesting that Al Saraya land be turned to a public garden.

ive been reading through your notes and the stories about what this space could be are just beautiful. we are still working hard behind the scenes to make sure the right people see these names because this barren lot deserves to be something that brings life back to our city.

seeing this many people agree that we deserve green spaces in the middle of our city is honestly overwhelming. we are proving that even from ruins we can imagine something beautiful for our future.

فعلاً غزة محتاجة أماكن خضراء ومساحات للناس. كفاية دمار وخراب، نريد مكان جميل نلعب فيه مع أولادنا.
Yes please! We need more parks and green spaces in Gaza. Sick of looking at debris everywhere. Let's make it happen.
مكان السرايا في القلب. لازم يتغير المنظر للأسوأ اللي بنشوفه كل يوم. حديقة بتعطي روح جديدة للمدينة.
This place has such a dark history. Turning it into a garden would be such a powerful way to reclaim our space and build something beautiful for the kids.
فكرة ممتازة جدا. السرايا مكان رمزي ولو تحولت لحديقة حتفرق كتير في نفسية الناس في وسط البلد.

Great idea. Turn the ruins into life. Enough of the grey cement and broken walls.
