Lack of spaces and noise distractions even as a first year student is crazy. Can't imagine how the rest of the years are doing. Hope they address it and repair the damage.

I was surprised when I arrived in Catalyst and we were told that classes would have to take place in spaces other than the ones we were expecting. Additionally we’ve been waiting for post boxes(that are only now available) and a cinema (still in the works)

This has in particular affected one of my subjects. Where we until now have been placed in 5th floor, and our teacher has not been able to hold her class. Due to internet connection. This has frustrated many. Last time we got placed in P2 and this did not work out. Half of the class could not see anything on the monitor. Also way to small of a studio for all the students

-Camera kits (Mic defective, Tech employees should make sure we get these insufficient )
-class room bookings prioritised before private (no notification if the room is needed by a class)
-lacking school cafeteria (have to pay for normal restaurant prices at Milchbar & Zola, -1€ doesn’t really make a difference)
-heating in different spaces missing
-no programs discounts (Adobe, etc.)
-not proper use of google drive (not all Tutors use it to upload PDFs, etc.)
-organisation as a total, Tutors confused, Assignments not always clear (Sync 3 guidelines changes constantly)

Being at Catalyst for only one year I feel pretty sad and disappointed that we are paying the full tuition but I can’t get the experience that I have paid for and expected. I applied to Catalyst with the expectation of getting an education as described online and during Open Day. However, the lack of spaces, constant noise that distracts from the focus is not what I expected. So I don’t think it’s fair to pay the same amount without being informed in advance. I would expect some financial pay back.
