Studios were also closed during the summer for music students, and we were only told a few weeks before the semester ended. A lot of students had plans for the summer that were relying on the facilities being available, as access to the studios during the summer had been given on previous years.
When we talked about it with administration, they mentioned that this was due to the summer classes taking place, and that there would not be enough space to accommodate for everyone. In addition, they mentioned that even if the studios were available to us, the noise from the construction would make them unusable. Classes started again and access to the studios were given, but the construction continued, so that point really doesn't stand.
It's clear the university has prioritized accommodating students from the summer classes at the expense of students that had already paid for access to the studios.
Furthermore, the current construction has caused the studios on the ground floor to be closed, leaving music students with less available spaces to work. This is especially problematic considering the new influx of students this year, which will affect the availability of the already limited studios.

Kindly requesting a partial refund of tuition payments for the months where most facilities (which were guaranteed and used to persuade students to pay huge tuition fees) were completely unavailable.

Working for professional assessments (i personally choosed mixing engineer for my 3 year) when you can’t accessed facilities is a complete non sense.

Also worth mentioning that music students didn't have access to the studios during the summer and very little notice was given. When we talked about it, the school mentioned that even if we had access to the studios, the construction work would affect any work taking place there, only for the studios to open again and the construction to continue.
It's clear priority was given to the summer students.

There is literally no place in the school where a whole class can comfortably stay (like cafeteria or previously the kitchen that is now a construction zone) in between classes if it's raining outside
