I'm very much in favor of a different solution to our road problems. The chip seal has created more problems than it has resolved. What a poor way to spend our money.

Using chip seal on the main road into Tall Tree was a mistake to begin with. It creates a dangerous situation for kids to ride bikes and run on. Most of the rest of the roads are asphalt paved. We need to except that it was a bad decision and an even worse installation job and correct the problem. I will have to really question my continued support of the road funding if the decision is made to not fix this problem.

We have lived in Tall Tree South since 2002 and have been paying the road assessment since it began.
I would like to see the road assessment funds go towards asphalt pavement projects. We do not support the chip seal.

We've been part of this community since 2005 and honestly preferred the old roads. The asphalt took some of the charm and drive up appeal away. That said, we are weekenders and do not have to drive these roads daily. The Chip Seal repave is not something we will support. If you feel it necessary to spend money on this, asphalt is our choice. Not sure that is necessary either really.
