It is important that history is reported accurately and that is not happening. Incorrect information is coming out of this University and it needs to be corrected. Any report on history needs to be verified and authenticated

Viva Texas! We need Texas history that highlights our amazing heritage and pride, that brings together all Texans.

To hear about someone like this, in this position in society, is REALLY bad press for UT. Ultimately, this will affect your bottom line when people like myself choose NOT to spend tuition dollars here because you are failing to uphold the values of the culture that put you all in your positions. Show us that you represent Texas and Texans by dismissing this hateful man.

This guy has obviously never read a Texas History book and doesn’t understand that we Texan “Remember the Alamo” since it fell to Mexican forces led by a dictator … and a coward at that.

Time for Dr. Buenger to move along.

It's time for a rational and balanced Texas historian, not someone who sees all white Texans as bigots.
