Historians sometimes forget that they report what happened and they do not make it happen.

It is past time to review Dr. Buenger's performance, and his suitability to retain his position as Chief Historian. His comments and views do not reflect a true picture of Texas history.

Mr. Buenger is a poor historian, a total disgrace, and unworthy of the position he holds. He's more interested in pushing his own radical agenda than in pursuing and presenting factual history. TSHA should be ashamed for appointing Walter Buenger as Chief Historian.

It appears the TSHA is NOT doing its job. Please remove an anti Texas, historical revisionist from the post of Chief Historian. Apparently Dr. Buenger has not fulfilled ANY of the requirements of his employment. Thank you.

I write against Dr. Walter Buenger. His efforts to undermine the relationship between races is shameful. His clear “wokeness” is racism at its pinnacle. He hates white people and should have no place in this association. History is history but his clear plan to overturn the memory of the people of all races that fought to establish a home in Texas is a travesty. He should go.

Yes. I agree.
Also we need to remove the Alamo from the UN.
Thanks for giving us the opportunity to have our voices heard!

Mr. Bryan,
Obviously, a performance review is overdue. I doubt that Dr Buenger would support your wonderful Galveston Museum favorably.

This is the world we live in. All they want to do is change history to fit their woke agenda!

He no doubt needs a formal review!
