Remember the Hero’s at the Alamo. After all, they did not have to be there, but they stayed.

The accuracy of our history is one of the greatest legacies which we leave to the following generations.

We must make sure that the true history of our great State is passed on to future generations. Mr. Buenger is certainly not the person to do that.

It’s time real Texas Historians have an opportunity to review and grade this “Doctor” and give him the marks he deserves. His past comments, public statements, and printed opinions on Texas History have been obviously tilted towards the beliefs of the “Left”, regardless of obvious evidence to the contrary. Give him his “F” and send him packing. Please!

Having had Mike Campbell as an exemplar, it is regrettable that Dr. Buenger has managed to produce nothing more than embarrassment.

Ridiculous having this man around

As a sixth generation Texas, I am dismayed to see the history of Texas so distorted and misrepresented by this man who seems more interested in "flavor of the day" history than true scholarship. We owe it to the sacrifices of our forbears to present what they did truthfully and objectively to build what is Texas today.

Fire this guy. We need an actual historian and academic that will honor fact over political bias.
