Yes im not a fan of truro becoming over built by building affordable housing for able bodied people and my taxes pay for it. Thanks

Incredible that he is our town manager. Who did that to us?

I agree that the Town Manager’s contract should not be renewed.

We need a new town manager who understands that preserving and protecting what’s special about Truro is more important today than ever before.

Keep Truro rural!!

True leadership is built on a foundation of careful listening, respect and a sufficient generosity of spirit to empower those one leads. This is what builds a strong community. Sadly, the current TM has not exhibited leadership and should not be offered reappointment.

Please hire a Town Manager who listens to Truro residents and creates a transparent administration. We need someone committed to protecting our natural resources and to supporting a welcoming, open-hearted town.

Please let us have good, real, kind people’s democracy once again.

Many of the town employees do not respect him and I worry about a mass exodus if his contract is renewed.

I agree that Truro needs a new Town Manager who is more familiar with our New England traditions and respects our wishes to remain rural. Also understands that a large number of citizens are seniors on fixed income who may want to support spending initiatives but are not able to.

The town manager's attitude about library trustees in itself is nasty! Do not extend his contract.

He should go!

Mr. Tangeman is unapproachable in the main and is aloof and disrespectful to the members of the Truro community and his employees. He does not relate to the people whom he supervises, does not lead from the front and he does not support the folks under his command. It is time for a new town manager.

The town manager is not responsive and disrespectful to members of the town. That is before getting into his priorities I feel strongly about not reappointing him.

We had such high hopes for this TM, but his push to suburbanize this magical rural paradise, centralize power towards his office, coupled with the loss of personnel and volunteers of great integrity speak against his ability to be a uniting leader in Truro. Unfortunately, the divisiveness in this small (formerly) neighborly Town has only grown under his watch.

Truro needs a Town Manager who interacts with its residents in a manner that is responsive, collaborative, and respectful. Sadly, the current Town Manager has exhibited none of these qualities during his tenure to date and, therefore, the Select Board should not reappoint him.

Do not renew the Town Manager’s contract!

I support a change for a new TM. The voices of our community need to be heard and acted upon.
