I do NOT support. This is exactly against what Chris Wren said when he lost at the Planning Commission meeting trying to this the last time. He said that he would not replat again because of the expense and legal fees. We should see this as what it is, an out and out grab for money.

I support the BLE community petition 1) to stop LGI's proposed re-plat of a part of Benders Landing Estates Section 6 that lies north of and at the easternmost end of Rayford Road, 2) to require LGI to fulfill their promise to deed the specified property to MC ESD No. 8 for construction of the fire station; and 3) to require LGI to reforest and maintain their promise that the specified reserve would never be developed.

I agree that if LGI were really concerned about fire safety, they would have installed hydrants when developing this community. Maybe be we should consider making BLE a 'gated community' and put a gate at Rayford. Let LGI figure out how to get access to their lots. No to destroying any more land around here and no to anything LGI suggests as they have proven that they are not credible, just from reading prior comments.

I am definitely in favor of the fire station in Section 6. I live in Section 7 and have worried about the disaster that could occur if a fire got started in our neighborhood. With all of the forest around here, it could spread quickly. A fire station close by could save our lives, homes, and belongings.

LGI should not go back on their word and put it's land owners in harms way if a fire could have been stopped with a near by fire station.
