do you know any schools nearby that wear trousers and make girls feel comfortable? If so suggest some.we are trying to Change something not only in our school but influencing other schools to make girls feel comfortable too. We are only discussing the colour of the trousers it is not guaranteed that red will be the colour but I appreciate your opinion.

Some people had no choice but to come to this school, I think having trousers is a good idea since some people here might feel uncomfortable wearing a skirt and might be to feminine for them.

Like I said I didn’t want to offend anyone, but I’m just saying that even navy , black or any other colour wouldn’t look good with our red jumpers. But if you guys want to do this go ahead but I don’t think anything is going to change. They’ve been trying to change this for years.

Some people might of been forced to come to this school, no one said the trousers would be red. It’s very obvious that they would be navy, if you like wearing skirts all day then just don’t sign the petition.

by making us wear skirts we are unable to express ourselves, we are freezing and uncomfortable all day. some of us might not like dressing as feminine as others and could be embarrassed to wear a skirt. we will get in trouble if our skirts are too short and are made go around looking like nuns, it’s not fair

We can have a reasonable discussion or a debate. Skirts should not be the only piece of clothing appropriate for school. If I were to be honest trousers are more respectful and appropriate for girls for it doesn’t show anything and protects us.

How hard is it to just let us wear trousers like it doesn’t affect u right? It might not be “feminine” to you but we’re not living in the 60s mate. Most schools have trousers so just let us get them like. Making us wear skirts in the winter and on windy days like our skirts can easily blow up and nobody wants that to happen. If u can’t let us wear trousers I’ll wear my tracksuit bottoms

Abeg let us get trousers I won’t wear them tho but these skirts make us look like NUNS. Get us shorter skirts as well I feel embarrassed to walk around with this long ass skirt. I get bullied for wearing this uniform is discarceful
