Tripadvisor is a terrible website that has come close to destroying some friend's businesses with their libellous reviews that they refuse to remove. The website should just be taken down as it does more harm to small businesses than good!

This site is business damaging, because anybody can write a fake review, only people who book through trip advisor should be able to post on this page....like all the other booking sites

TripAdvisor may have guidelines, but can not be above the law. It is time that businesses wronged by libelous reviews, that can be proven, joined together to put a stop to the way this website is managed.

I agree trip advisir should get on touch with the company about what went wrong I believe they should not just let any review go on there I know for a fact a customer of mine had fake reviews put on their site even tho the reviewer had not even visited the premises

I have had at least 3 fake reviews e
about my business . Tripad refuse to remove them. I know for an absolute fact 2 similar businesses in the street are fake reviewing them selves making out they are great and giving them selves fantastic reviews all fake. And at least 1 is responsible for the fake bad reviews about us and others.

I will immediately stop contributing to the TA site. I am sorry I did in the past but having discovered the truth about TA I wish to have no part of their maverick mentality and behaviour (whilst I intended for good).

Trip Advisor should not allow multiple reviews of the same experience. Trip Advisor is a platform for silent cowardly miserable people that lie to make them feel that little bit better, whilst people in the industry work there socks off to receive a slap in the face from lies!

We are being targeted by one of our competitors who are clearly proud of telling others that they are posting very damaging reviews about us and when we reported this to Tripadvisor they say it's within their guidelines and just ask us to post a response however, the response is always in light font and is hidden below the reviewers and can't be seen. This cannot be fair to both parties?

if tripadvisor was 100% true and honest it would be a good source of information, but it is so easy to put fake untrue comments which damage the business and the people who work their..

The false slanderous reviews absolutely have got to stop. This can, and more than likely is ruining the lives and businesses of good and hard working people, who have invested years of effort, money and time into their businesses. They are being shot down with falsified reviews created by their competition or anyone else who doesn't want the business owners to succeed. Do the right thing.

I had guests in my lodge who decided to put a comment in tripadvisor. They used my wifi and in doing so my IP.
Immediately afterward a have got a note from tripadvisor. They claimed I would betray, the offered consequenses and they ranked us down.
I never got an answer to my e-mails. Not only in this cases, they do not answer at all.
This happened 2 times.
A bunch of ignorant and dangerous idiots.

As captain of long haut flight I travel à lot.my crew and I had à very bad experience at Pullman São Paulo BZ.
TA refuse to publish my opinion because it was not so good for this hotel which they deals booking with.....
