Trigeminal Neuralgia needs to be recognized by WHO so that funding and research can go towards finding a cure for this extremely painful condition from which I suffer daily!!

I have TN and I have 32 years in service to the Federal Government. I'm close to retirement but the pain just keeps getting worse making it hard to concentrate. I'm hoping to make it through until I can retire but not everyone with TN have the same option.

My mother has suffered from this awful condition for 25 years. No one should have to endure this. It is inhumane! Please let this year be the year we find a cure.

I suffer from Trigeminal Neuralgia and I would love for more awareness about this horrible affliction and for some research into actual cures rather than temporary bandaids. I am only in my 30's and have 2 primary aged kids, I am scarred for my future if no cure is found, I do not want to become a burden for my kids. I want to be an active mum for the rest of my life.

In hopes that more people, including the medical community, will become more familiar with this terrible condition.

Very Healthy for 52 Years.. until 8 weeks ago when Trigeminal Neuralgia hit me! Unimaginable and Absolute worst Pain! Thankful medicine has helped for now. Medicine brings on other issues, that makes it hard to live a normal life. Please take this disease Serious!

My mum suffers with this horrific disease. And after brain surgery, the surgeon classed it as a success although it's made her worse! Something needs to be done. So many people suffering when surgeons who think they are god are giving wrong advice and then claiming people are 'fixed' ..my mum is not a one off case. Everyone she talks to who has had the surgery has ended up the same!

I have had TN1 and TN2 for 28 years. In 2006 it stopped going into remission very often, and since 2013 has been my constant companion. Thankfully medication has been helpful, but I have had to increase the dose to levels that makes it hard to work or grocery shop or do anything that requires concentration. I fear the time will come when I am unable to work, and then what?
