Please put this disease as high priority, as it is known as the suicide disease, and my sister in law died this past Aug with it. I saw first hand what this does to a person, as I cared for her until she died.

My name is Adriean and I suffer from Trigeminal Neuralgia. I am signing this petition because, as anyone with an invisible illness will tell you, global awareness and knowledge of the illness can make all the difference in the world. It can open up the opportunity for scientific studies, medical trials, and the development of new medications to help calm the effects of attacks. Please add TN to your topics list, we need help!

I have this disease and it is horrible! I don't understand how people with social anxiety get recognized but not Trigeminal Neuralgia.

I have Trigeminal Neuralgia and have a rare bilateral form of it. I have found that after 11 neurologist I have only been able to find one that has even seen a patient like me. And 9 of the 11 knew less about the disease then myself. We need more awareness, information, and education out there not only for support but for the medical community as well. One admitted they were only taught about bilateral patients in 2 paragraphs during their schooling. That is no where near enough concidering the neurologist is our primary care provider for this disease. Adding TN to your list will open more doors all the way around.
