Please position this disease for greater awareness. It is virtually unknown and misdiagnosed even by neurologists. I suffered for 5 years before I diagnosed myself but too much time was lost and eight neurologists could not relieve my type 2 TN. Thank you.

People really do need to be informed about this. Until I had my first attack I had no clue what Trigeminal neuralgia was. It was the most frightening experience of my life. You never get used to it. I pray for a cure.

I have had Trigeminal Neuralgia for almost ten years; but I didn't get diagnosed until four years ago. I hope that there is headway in finding a cure for this disease soon! Please help us

This disease is awful and has caused more issues for us TN fighters than anyone should ever have to experience.

I've suffered from tirgemibal neuralgia for approx 6 years but it took 3 years to diagnose and I went to hell and back being sent from dentist to doctor. Even my family thought I was making it up. This condition needs much more awareness as it's an invisible illness.

My father suffered horribly from Trigeminal Neuralgia for YEARS! It was awful to see him suffer. He finally had to have brain surgery to get any relief at all. My husband also suffers from Trigeminal Neuralgia, but thankfully is not as affected as my dad had been.
