My paternal grandmother suffered from debilitating facial pain and in those days it was referred to as Tick de la Rue (sp). All I know is how hard it was to watch her suffer and perhaps signing this petition will help those who living with this terrible condition today.

I had Micro-Vascular Decompression surgery for Trigeminal Neuralgia. I feel it would not have taken so long for a diagnosis if there were enough awareness about it.

I have had 4 surgeries, but none of them had realy helped me. A super doctor is now controlling medicine and i can now work more than most people. Life without propor help is not possible. The pain is not possible to withstand. Sueside is the only alternative to propor help. Sorry to say that, but that is rality!

Trigeminal Neuralgia not only robbed me of my health but it also robbed me of my personality, some of my friendships and my life as I knew it!! Yes I've gone on and I'm okay most days but even on my good days I'm scared to death that I may be about to have shocks....have a bad day......that's my new life! Please add this to your list!! We need more recognition of this disease and more research!!
