My mother suffered from Trigeminal Neuralgia for many years. Despite her remarkable strength and inner resilience, the acute pain was nearly unbearable and completely life-altering. It's a crime that there isn't more attention and help for this horrifying affliction.

Have had TN thirty two years.

I suffer from this and thought I was going mad until eventually diagnosed after seeing3 Gp's and 4 specialists

It took me 8 years to find this diagnosis. (during which time many painful social judgments were made on me) I never knew facial pain was a thing. I'm currently in the process of appealing for SSI benefits which were denied based on facial pain not preventing the physical activity of full time work. In other words, denied based on a lack of awareness for what TN2 is.
