I have been excruciating with the pain of this for two years in a uncaring world with not much understanding as appearing healthy, and no one knows about this disease. ..I am treated as if I am "making it up" and no family or ability to make friends as too painful and no one believes me.

More training needed by doctors to be able to properly diagnosed. I was over 20 years and in great pain and treated for migraines sinus TMJ. I also had a few neurologists who either fluffed me off or TN was not their preferred specialty

Please add Trigeminal Neuralgia to the "health topics" list as this terrible disease is overlooked and misunderstood all the time and the current treatment is NOT a treatment, merely a very inadequate patch to cover up the symptoms. The treatment itself produces so many vicious side effects it's like having two diseases instead of one. Please raise awareness and give TN recognition.
