My daughter has had T N for over 24 years now, it's so hard being a Mom and not being able to help your little girl, I have watched her suffer , watched her cry because she couldn't play like the other kids, she couldn't play outside because it was too cold, too winding, too sunny, all these things could trigger her pain, she could do a lot f things , she was ripped from her childhood at the age of 7, I love you Alisha Fisher Nelligan, and I will always be here for you !

Recently diagnosed the pain is indescribable.... Agonizing doesn't even explain the way this feels....

I have TN and my life has changed dramatically and not in a good way. Suffering constantly is debilitating. I want to do things again. Live my life again, but without knowledge in the medical field and public we won't ever have a cure or solution. I have asked many nurses and even doctors and they have never heard of it. It baffles me how the most painful condition known is not taught to the medical field. We need awareness and help. Please!!!!

Trigeminal Neuralgia as well as additional nerves 7, 9 & 10 bi-laterely, has ruined and changed my life. I can't work, I can't be involved with my kids and family members. My quality of life is horrible. I am either fighting the pain of the illness or dealing with the awful side effects of my medicine or both. Doing daily chores is an issue, driving is an issue, being able to just enjoy family time is an issue. It hurts to talk, to brush my teeth, the most basic things are painful, like eating. Most of all it is the loss of being able to be with family and friends. I have become a recluse with no life. It is miserable. Please shine light on this awful disease.
