Please recognize TN. It needs more awareness and exposure!

I have suffered with Trigeminal Neuralgia since April 12, 2014. I have had to educate physicians on this disorder. My primary care physician knew more about this disorder than my neurologist! Even dentists are unaware of this disorder, and will pull teeth thinking a root canal is what will "cure" the pain. There is no cure for TN. Even the brain surgery, microvascular decompression (MVD), is not a guarantee that one with this horrific disorder will be free from pain. There are hundreds of patients who have had more than one MVD to try and stop the pain. Please put Trigeminal Neuralgia on the health topic list.

It's about time that this desiese gets more attention. There are far too many people suffering and not enough doctors recognize this or know what it is to properly diagnose.
