International Trigeminal Neuralgia Awareness Day October 7th!

My daughter has TN and is a single mother of an 11 year old boy. Because of having this disabling disease, she is no longer able to work! PLEASE allow thereally to be research to find a cure for this debilitating disease, so there can be a cure found for the thousands of people like her, so they can get back to living a normal life!

My daughter has been using painkillers for two years and now they don't work and she's in to much pain to function at university. So bright and so hard working all of her life. Now it seems it was all a waste. She should have been partying and living it up.

I am only 21 and I have been diagnosed with Trigeminal Neuraglia. It is so debilitating and I am at a point where pain killers no longer work. The risks of surgery which will only temporarily reduce pain would be less of an issue if I was older but I still have my whole life ahead of me.

It took 8 years of seeing countless doctors, dentists, TMJ specialists, and neurologists and experiencing crippling depression from their callous dismissal of my pain for me to finally get diagnosed with Trigeminal Neuralgia. When I have none flare days I suffer instead from chronic fear of the pain returning. I will never be the same person since this pain entered my life.

I am a warrior, but need your help getting the word out.

I know what it is since I have it. It is really painful and disruptive to anyone that has it.

This is an urgent issue that needs more attention now.

Please help those in such awful pain.

My "baby" sister was just diagnosed with this awful condition, and is in unimaginable pain, and I can say it's worse than my own conditions of Migraines and Intercrannial Hypertension!!

The love of my life is in a coma and dying from complications from the LACK of prescribed pain meds, because the Drs. say they are addictive.

The ignorance of doctors is astounding for this disease. I suffered for years before someone put a name to my pain. I am still suffering because the medication does not work. Please find a cure!

This is a very painful condition that needs more attention and treatment options!

I have had trigeminal neuralgia since the late 1980s. I have had a glycerol injection that failed and recently had microvascular decompression surgery. I wish I had been better informed about the possible complications or knew what questions to ask my neurosurgeon.

Pls give significance to this lethal pain condition a recognition world wide and help us to have an authentic treatment to relieved from from this hell pain thro proper research.
