Cornwall will lose one of its best and most beautiful visitor attractions if Trevarno Estate and Gardens are not sold. The 700+ acre estate is currently on the market split into 33 lots, with Trevarno as one lot as an attraction plus 80 acres of land. Other lots comprise farmland and properties. Trevarno will close if no buyer or buyers are found, with a loss of approximately 50 jobs. Furthermore, if left empty, Trevarno could fall into disrepair, making it less desirable for prospective purchasers. Trevarno is a vibrant business which supports local artists and crafts people, schools and charities. It is open all year round and because of its excellent value for money, a mainstay for the locals and their families. Its closure will impact greatly on the community and future tourism for Helston and its surrounding areas. We are petitioning to request that Trevarno Garden Estate and Gardens remain open as a visitor and local community attraction until a buyer comes forward.
