The library administration finally backed down and those desks are going to stay exactly where they are. I am drained from this fight but incredibly grateful that we kept our study space. Keep an eye on the library plans just in case they try this again later.

In Easter Tremough Library, of University College Falmouth will be removing the study desks in the main library room in the quiet study area on the right side. This will be replaced by a rolling stack. There is already not enough space for us to work, and Easter means exams and deadlines, so we really have to do something to stop this from happening. Please sign this petition to get our voices heard. Not all of us want to be confined to working in our bedrooms. This will affect both Falmouth students and Exeter students at the tremough campus. It's time to get peeved.

Seeing this kind of traction is exhausting but it proves that I am not the only one feeling the strain of these changes. We have momentum now and I intend to keep pushing until someone at the university actually gives us an answer.

Are you serious? Library space is already a nightmare. Where are we actually supposed to go during finals week?

I absolutely cannot focus in my room. This is a bad move for the university.

Typical. They care more about storage than students. Stop this now.

Every single desk is full by 9am anyway. Taking more away is just making it impossible to pass my exams.
