Trees are a beautiful and easy way for us to fight the Climate Crisis right here in our own backyards. I would like to add an additional ten trees in total to the inner and outer circles of the park which would not impede the open spaces where we have played as children, picnicked on dates, and run with our furry friends! The momentum behind this effort has started to feel real despite the long days of planning. It is exhausting to keep pushing in the face of silence but seeing the support grow reminds me why we need these trees. We are not turning back now.

Looks like this part of the Herricks town, beings neglected by county and every passing year it’s getting deserted..It needs some good landscaping along with trees.. Thanks for taking the initiative..
I was just telling my daughter that when I grew up there we used the trees as goal posts. But now the trees aren’t close enough for that. Would love to see more trees there.
plant fruit trees there, make it like a community garden. people will respect it and maintain them .
More trees are a wonderful idea Many of the trees in the area are 65 + years and Maples do not last forever
We can use a few benches too. There were benches on the middle path when the park was new.
The ten additional trees would add both beauty and shade to Park Circle, all while improving the environment, still allowing ample open space for recreation and sports.

I have lived around that neighborhood for almost 35 years. I live that park and trees and some park benches would be such a wonderful addition to this park. So many children and elderly are in it walking every day.
