Through the ages, man has called dog one of his closest companions. Dogs are always there and able to greet us happily after what may have been the worst day of our lives and make us feel better with a wag of the tail, they are always at our sides at many times.

How come that we can dress those dogs like humans but we cannot treat them like one?

It is well known fact that dogs have not only a better sense of smell than humans but have senses that humans do not have. dogs can tell how humans feel. There is no hiding it. A human can hide their feeling from another human, but never from dog. Dogs do have emotions.

Other thing is do we deserve being protected by our dogs even if as a human we cannot protect them? Do we deserve being best friend of a dog even if we only treat them as an animal?

Dogs have been loyal to us. Its time to return those efforts of them and it's time to start treating them better. Treat them like a human, there are some instances that humans can leave you but dogs are always there at your side and never leaves you unless they die.
