I would like to sign this petition on behalf of the local residents who end up having to pay for the cleanup of mess that travellers leave behind.

I object to travellers going on our green spaces they leave a mess and these places are for residence use and our children and i feel Merton should follow other councils to stop this happening we have had a lot of disturbance with travellers going from one green space to another and Merton Council should now stop this for these green spaces are not suitable for these travellers with their large vwhicles and caravans.

Merton needs to consider appropriate housing, and education for traveller families if they want this.

Not in Merton anymore - why do they flaunt rules yet if I pitched up in my car in a park I'd be arrested - had enough now something has to be done!!!!

This is a re-occurring issue requiring urgent and just solution to prevent further damage to public spaces, fly-tipping, human waste and antisocial behaviour. It is an affront against civilised society to treat vulnerable land in the way displayed by the traveller community at cannon hill and other places. They live in disregard to and violation of what we value and must be held accountable within the laws laid out.
