I own a holiday home and look after two more. I know from experience that holiday makers will come over as soon as they can so I totallyagree with this petition.

The more tourists travelling here the more our hospital will be overwhelmed. But I would like to see and welcome visitors when it is 100% safe. Even if that means next year and not this one. Only key workers & essential deliveries should be allowed on the ferries until the pandemic is over.

I’m not shocked at bob selies reaction as his parents are something to do with red funnel the man dosnt even live on the island. We do need the Holliday makes for our economy I work in the leisure industry & I’m ferlonged at this moment in time but at this prosice moment our hospital dose not need any more strain on it to keep the islanders & it’s residents safe.

Gob smacked to see Bob Seeley getting his 15mins of fame on TV. He put this before the health and welfare of all on the Island. Who will be voting to have him speaking on our behalf. We now Know at least 2 people ,if this petition is anything to go by. He will be at home to consider that his 2mins of fame has cost his political career. Shirley Dolby eighty year old resident tax payer on our beautiful Island. No No Mr Seely

I have been concerned that we have been shielded here on the Island and that we may suffer more as a result of an easing of lock down if it involves open travel to the Island. St Mary's WILL NOT be able to cope.

We need to stay vigilant for much longer before we can welcome visitors back to the Island. Patience is needed by all.

Whole heartedly agree. It is quite unfair of mainland residents to flock over here because of lower number of cases. There are a lot of elderly people here which they are putting at risk. I implore you to please make this happen.

I strongly agree that all unesasary travel to our Island should be stopped, I think these visitors are the cause of our high rate of virus sufferers Please make them stay away

There are plenty of places on the mainland UK to visit. Save the cost of the ferry and Islanders lives.

Why should they be allowed we are not monkeys to be tested on to see us getting ill. Have some respect we are all humans and we all have something called feelings.

Any tourist travelling to the IOW should not be doing so we are each expected to exercise locaĺly within our district boundaries, the IOW is not a local area within a district boundary on the mainland. The number dying of coronavirus is still rising on the IOW and the number dying from the virus outweighs those leaving hospital on the IOW. I agree with the use of the app but in addition to the app until every Islander has been tested for the virus in addition to using the app, we will not know the true scale of the vurus in the IOW. Adding the risk of letting visitors over even for 1 day makes no sense at this present time for the reasons stated above. My understanding is that people cannot be refused to travel over but asked to consider not doing so, this may be incorrect. Is it not common sense for the ferries to say that no visitors can travel to the Island and give those that need to travel to work on the mainland and on the IOW work passes. Do we need to wait until a law is passed when in the meantime common sense and the guts to implement the ruling can be applied.

The question is ,what can we do,when the restrictions are relaxed,( it's summer time ) as all the visitors come here,as there only be a few planes ,for overseas holidays.
