Temple properties or inventories must not be sold.Instead the earnings/ donations/deposits of devotees to Guruvayur,Sabarimala & other famous temples must be utilised for the upkeep of smaller, less prosperous temples.

Devaswom bird was formed to protect the temples. Govt took over enormous land and other assets of the temple and created the Devaswom board with a commitment to serve and protect all the temples, preseve its assets and also pay the employees and all others who serve the temples. Why is government forgetting all that and looking at temples as just another source of income for the government? This must stop.

Very sad day. We must protest. This is beyond religion, caste, creed. It is our cultural heritage that Government (of whatever dispensation) cannot play games with.

Why are only heritage temples being targeted for fund raising.. citizens of India belong to different religions.. so shouldn't all religious groups contribute proportionately for the welfare of thd nation..this is highly irregular and unjust and unfair practice..must be stopped at once
