Auction should be stopped, the lamps have reached the temple according to the Hindu belief system. We have the right to follow our beliefs and the government is supposed to help the people to follow their beliefs.
To generate money the cars provided to the MLA's and minister's may be sold and their allowances and unwanted posting's may be cut down. Anyhow this is not the way to run a government.

It's a pity that the temples have to opt for this drastic measure. We have to find out a best solution for supporting them.

I strongly appose Kerala govt decision of selling temple properties. Its against my faith and hurting our sentiments. Kerala govt does not have any rights to sell temple properties. Govt has only administration rights not the owner of temples. Its we people are owners. As its build by my forefathers.

There are alternatives that can be taken rather than opting to take this drastic action of auctioning temple lamps and vessels. What a pity!

Temples should be left alone. Sad to sell lamps and vessels that have been temple property for generations

Money generated by larger temples can be used for upkeep of smaller ones, instead of being given to Muslim or Christian organisations.

I strongly support this petition. If the Dewasom Board has ₹10 crore to donate to COVID-19 funds, I'm sure it ought to have enough to sustain itself. It is sad that people who have no locus standi in managing such temples (which is a different case, though a valid truth here) can try and fool Hindus at large by such efforts. I have to deem them malafide, mischievous and completely untenable.

Why only hindu temples are with government. They can take control of other religion prayer places ??? And even sell more items.
