Thank you all for visiting this petition site. We are 4th year nursing students in the UWO-Fanshawe collaborative program. As part of our fourth year political action project we have decided to advocate for public safety concerning the VIA Rail train crossing located on Third Street in London Ontario. As past Fanshawe Students and residents of Third Street we as a group feel that this crossing is dangerous to pedistrians and motorists, because this particular crossing lacks railway crossing arms. The Via rail trains that travel on these tracks cross this street at very high speeds and the flashing lights in place, are not sufficient to make people aware. If you feel that this is a concern, we urge you to sign this petition in order to increase community concern to show the City of London that this is an issue, and crossing arms need to be instituted to make this crossing safer for everyone.
